  1. No.

In reply to the last answer about Jesus rising from the dead, three days after He was crucified, He was ressurected.

  2. Don't you know of the biblical book of the zombie jeezus... ? <g>

  3. A long held misconception here... Jesus didn't rise from the dead - Jesus was resurrected - big difference.

Rising from the dead would imply a miracle that returned Him to His mortal state, life & body again.  Resurrection is NO LONGER a mortal state and the body is re united with the spirit in perfect immortal form.

  4. As he was raised into a different life form--a spirit creature, he did not have a body for anyone to smell.

He appeared to some 500 in total in different body forms.  Those that had been with him daily for over 3 years did not recognize him.  Only his mannerisms gave him away.  So these were never his old body used again.

  5.   If God had the power to raise somebody from the dead don't you think He had the power to take the smell away? Not to mention, didn't they put some spices on His body? Or perhaps that was why the ladies were headed back to the sepulcher.

  6. How do you expect a 2000 year old zombie to smell like ? Flowers ?!? I think not.

  7. After spending that time in h**l, I am sure he was well done.

    God love you!

  8. No.

  9. Nah; he was Jesus, man! He walked on water, turned fish into wine, was born from a woman who had an immaculate conception (or, at least, cleaned up really well afterward) - so he just plain didn't smell bad like us mere mortals!

  10. I believe the bible stated that when Jesus resurrected Lazarus, he had the smell of death upon him.

  11. Then came that earthquake and all the dead saints crawled out of their graves and walked around the city. Talk about raising a stink...

  12. No, he did not.  Though he might of smelled like fish after rising and cooking some fish for the apostles.  The risen body may not have been of the same matter as the previous one He was buried in.

  13. thank God we muslims belive he isn't dead yet...

  14. Oh boy was he a stinky pants.

    Gruz: Those poor worms... *sniffle*

  15. Yes. When he rose up into the heavens, a few worms fell out of his body to their deaths.

  16. I'm an atheist so I really don't know...but I think it was supposed to be his spirit that rose from the dead. Ghosts don't smell.

  17. Sorry, God's people don't respond to these types of ridiculous questions. Read and you'll find out for yourself.

  18. lol.  If he is able to shake off death, walk on water, cast out demons, and do spontaneous healings then I'm pretty sure he could overcome a few germs in his pits.

  19. Now here's an important question that will change your life.

  20. No, He was completely restored.

The story of Lazarus covers your question as well.

  21. Nah, He washed up real good first with soap!

  22. I do not believe we can scripturally say yes, but defintely we can say no.

Consider when Lazarus was raised from the dead.  Mary said that "he stinks", and his grave clothes were still stuck on him.  However, when Jesus came from the tomb, no such statements are made, no grave clothes were stuck on Jesus.  He was all cleaned up, essentially.

    Good question.

  23. Since the Bible doesn't say, unlike it does about Lazarus, I'd say no.

  24. He rose from the dead?  When?  Where?  How?
