  1. The kingdom was inaugurated when Jesus' ministry started... he said the kingdom is at hand... meaning it was right there. As Jesus lives in our hearts as he did in th early church the kingdom began then. The first to see it's first and full manifestation were th 120 in the upper room!

  2. He was trying to tell you that the kingdom is within you. Stop looking outside of yourself for what exists only within.

  3. The word that Jesus spoke and are recorded in Matthew 24 and the parables he told, that are found in Matthew 20:1-16, 13:11-52, 18:23, 20:1-16 and 25: 1-46 provide word pictures of the kingdom.

If you read the parables that have been listed you will find that the kingdom is established after a period of time when the rightful overseer has been absent.

As Bible students will know, the overseer is Jesus he has not returned to the earth yet.  Therefore the kingdom has not been yet been established, it is an event for the future.

To those of my readers who are JW’s and anyone else that cares to read what Jesus said I will refer them to Matthew 24:24-36

    The important verse is -

    Matthew 24:27

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

  4. The kingdom is also here.   In the hearts of those who acknowledge God as king.

But is still to come in its fulness

(Remember 'Thy kingdom come' implies 'my kingdom go')

  5. Anytime.  How's by you?

  6. Mk 13,32 No-one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

--> we do not know, no-one does.

Mt 24,44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

--> we should wait for it every day.

I do agree with the others that the "kingdom of God" can mean somthing that is in our hearts, but surely not exclusively.

  7. If you mean the return of Jesus then I'd imagine in 40-100 years, seems how we were to 'know the season' and one of the signs was the return of the Jews to Israel and Jerusalem, so maybe soon, I hope and long for that day with all my heart and soul and might.

  8. Jesus taught that the Kingdom of God is at hand.

The Kingdom of God is present whenever and wherever people treat each other with mercy, respect, and love.

  9. Never

  10. The kingdom is present in our hearts and minds.  It will become a physical reality at the return of Christ.

  11. Luke 17:21 (King James Version)

21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

  12. The Kingdom of God became present on the earth once again, the moment the Blessed Virgin Mary was conceived.

When Jesus was conceived in Mary's womb, the Kingdom of God became the most powerful force on earth.

Jesus' atoning sacrifice at Calvary, and the subsequent birth of the Church on Pentecost, made it possible for anyone to become part of the Kingdom, by inviting the Holy Spirit to indwell their soul, through baptism.

When Jesus comes again, and God dwells with man on the newly renovated earth for all eternity, that which is anticipated in the Lord's Prayer will see its' complete fulfillment.

  13. I expect the Kingdom in just under three thousand years, but I'll be dead by then.
