will the trojan still remain on my computer and affect me?

I've been downloading music and two alerts showed up saying they've removed trojans...but those trojans come with the music file... so do I need to delete the music file or not?

  1. I think you have to delete the music file, because the trojan is attached to it.

  2. If it's infected the music like you say so, then yes.

  3. Listen use kaspersky..it will try to disinfect the file if it can, but if it cant then it will be deleted and if it is deleted the trojan will be deleted too.

There is probably loads of spyware and viruses on you're computer.

Wait and download kaspersky and you will be suprised by what you see.

  4. no it will not, depening on the trojan, it can latch on to a windows dll file.

    its already in your computer.

can try find one free here http://spywaretrojanremover.com/compare

  5. Go here and do the on-line scan it will try to repair the file by removing the infection if not it will delete the file for you,

when running the scan turn off your McAfee as it may prevent the scanner from doing it's job...

turn it back on when it has finished...
