How many of their relatives are they going to be allowed to bring with them. You know import mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents. Will we soon have 500 million new immigrants in this country brought in by our whorish politicians to garner votes and who will pay for this mess? How does this system work? Looking for an answer from those that are privey to this situation. And what of the breeding aspects. Some of these families will have 10 or 12 children which will be on the public dole free schooling etc. Where are we headed with this mess?

  1. its not 20 millions, only 12 millions.

  2. Probably, using the same blueprint as when Reagan did the same.

  3. Last I read the Constitution, we elect Presidents, not kings.

W was for amnesty and the Dream Act; he didnt get it.  The american people roared their disapproval and as a result every piece of immigration legislation that is pro illegals has been shot down.

Meanwhile state and local legislation that is anti illegals is soaring.

These two bozos will say anything they have to in order to alienate no one and pander to everyone with a vote.  What they say--and what they do after elected --are two totally different issues.

    Just watch and see.

  4. Actually, there are only certain family members you can petition for as a Permanent Resident. So, I seriously doubt they will be able to bring in their entire clan. Furthermore, immigration has existed since the beginning of time. In fact, I'm sure my ancestors were immigrants and yours, too. The bottom line is that we will NEVER get rid of immigration.

The GOAL is to try to legalize the 12 million (not 20) that are currently in the US by having them pay a fine and take steps to becoming responsible citizens, per Obama's idea. Meanwhile, McCain doesn't really have any plan at all (then again, he doesn't look so hot with lack of solutions regarding our economy either - per his own admission that he didn't know about "that stuff").

I believe the ones that are here should be made to pay a fine and be granted citizenship under the following circumstances:

    1) They have family already here that are American citizens. For example, children or even spouses who are US born but unable to get their applications processed b/c the wait is FOREVER.

    2) They provide a viable skill for the work force or will be able to create businesses that will create more jobs. Personally, I know people who have FABULOUS business ideas and have written awesome plans but are strapped b/c they have no documentation to actually put their plans into action. More business = more jobs = more security for the furture of EVERYONE.

    3) NO CRIMINAL RECORD. If they have a criminal record in their own country or have created one here (not including "crossing the border"), then they don't get in. PERIOD.

    4) If a permanent resident wants to petition for a family member, they must get in "the back of the line" and can only petition for IMMEDIATE family (such as spouses, children and elderly parents).

    5) They must assimilate into society by learning English and taking various courses learning law, history of the US, etc.

I believe these actions in conjunction with Amnesty could actually make the whole thing somewhat successful... provided, of course, that our gov't officials DO actually do something about the border & anyone caught as an undocumented worker thereafter.

  5. Vote for Obama

that way we can just give all of our money to the government

they will put it all into one big jar and divide it back to the whole country equally

    lol

  6. No one can claim to be privy to the situation because no legislation has passed or is pending.  Who would be eligible to apply for an adjustment of status and which of their relatives they could subsequently sponsor to come to the US would all be debated in congress if a bill is introduced.

  7. That wont happen, neither have the power to simply grant amnesty.
