When PHELPS will be in Rome(italy)?

Question

i heard at the newsreadings on the italian tv that he will be in italy but i couldn't get WHEN-AT WHAT competition?

i know there will be a world championship in 2009 in rome but they said Michael Phelps'mother asked him to go to Rome and get a win there.

Does anyone can CLEAR IT UP?please cos i couldn't get the whole news

Phelps has just luck, but he's not really that good actually

ummm.. i didn't really get your question..

Michael Phelps will be in Rome for the world championship (as you said).. probably he will be there for the whole time, so from the 18th of july 'till the 2nd of august..
