When Polear Bears hibernate, how do they not know they will get buried in snow ?

they get burried depending on where they r at.... in a cave or in a hole, etc.

this is a guess i am not sure, but i think so.

They don't hibernate, but are active all winter

Polar Bears dig holes in the snow in which to hibernate and do get buried - it's the snow that keeps them warm.
