When Portland plays Phoenix, will Greg Oden outplay Shaq, or will Shaq school Oden?

Dude are you serious no one has ever seen Oden play in the NBA yet and you already think he can take maybe one of the most intimidating big men in the NBA. I don't care how old he is he is still huge, intimidating, and well a gaint. Oden might play good against him but outplay him no and if he starts to Shaq will shut him down hard, Shaq doesn't like being out played by kids and he will punch 'em in the head before that happens.............................Reme... this is Shaq we are talking about

Oden will play well against shaq.  Yeah he is coming off an injury but its been 1 whole year to rehab it wont be an issue, its not like he was out for 4-5 months or anything.  every year though Shaq goes down in every stat category and he wont play Oden well if Oden uses his jump hook like he love to do.

The match up is slightly equal because they can defend each other they are both a good defender but oden will benefit the most because he is young.

I think that Shaq will probably outplay Oden in the first matchup, because Shaq is one of the greatest ever. Oden, no matter how insanely good he will become, is still a rookie. He has much to learn. Shaq seems to do fairly well in marquee matchups.

thats a good question. i think that if shaq is healthy he has a good chance to school oden because oden is still a very young player and he still hasnt played a game in the nba. on the other hand shaq is much more expirienced and has been in the nba for a very long time.

I'd have a hard time imagining Oden play extremely well against Shaq the very first game he plays against him. Of course i think the ? is when do they play? I mean at the rate Shaq's abilities are decreasing now a days, if it's a long way off like the 2nd half of the season, than who knows. But if it's in Nov. i'd give the edge to Shaq for now. Also don't forget Amare is there too. Which would make it even more difficult for Oden.

I think Shaq would out do Oden on the defensive and offensive end. Oden can probably score over Shaq. Just look at Shaq, he is a huge, huge man. Oden is going to look like a shrimp to that man. Shaq is a deasel, Oden is just coming off an injury. I don't think Oden would want to be match up with guys like the deasel and superman.
