  1. It would've been 10 pm Eastern time. since it was 0300 BST.


  2. It was at night.  I was watching Saturday Night Live when they broke in with the story.

  3. Well if was around midnight in London (August 31) than it would've been around 7 o'clock eastern time (August 30).

  4. Her death was announced about 6 am Atlantic time, I remember hearing it on the radio. That would be 7 am Eastern.

  5. She may have died at 3am, but the death was not announced until around 5am in Britain, which would be around midnight EST, which coincides with my memory of the event.  There was some speculation before midnight but there was nothing official until midnight.

  6. It was around 3:00 am. I watched it LIVE.
