  1. I think charles should as his sons should be given a chance to have a life before all that responsibility. No i dont think camilla should be queen.

  2. Yes, Charles should become King despite what you read and come to believe in the media.  I don't think many people truly understand the scope and dedication in which Charles has to his role and duties in which he carries out.  His duchy is producing a profit, his charity, the prince's trust has help many disadvantage youths.  This guy has every right to become king, it's his birthright.

  3. Some people have said that the queen may live another few years, i would just like to point out that the queen can abdicate the thrown whenever she likes. She does not keep going until she passes away.

I think that Charles will not become king, i think that it will probably pass to William, Harry will never become king, in my opinion he is not really mature enough to handle it judging by his behaviour.

  4. i think the queen will live another 30-odd years, outliving charles.  so it will be william and possibly kate as king and queen with their kids as the new royal family.

  5. They don't get to choose. It will go to Charles until he passes. They'll never like Camilla like Diana, but they (and she) will have to deal. Camilla will not become Queen.

  6. No, many people favors Prince William as their new King, however, I believe we should give Prince Charles a chance, he has been waiting over 60 years for this role as King, and I do not think its fair to push him aside for his younger son. Let Prince Charles have a taste of his glory for the remaining days of his life. Prince William will be King someday and he will be a great King, since he got two excellent inspirations in his life, his super granny the Queen and his mother, the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

I believe Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall already figured out that the British people would not receive her as well as they did with Diana, Princess of Wales. This is perhaps the reason why she preferred to take the title of "Princess Consort" rather than "Queen Consort" when Prince Charles of Wales is crowned King. However, unless a specific Act of Parliament is passed to the contrary, she will, as a King's wife, legally be Queen, regardless of whether she uses that title or not.

  7. Of course Charles would become King.  And do you really think the British care about who their Queen is?  For God's sake, the Royal Family isn't even from England, they're from Germany.

ticd - Have you even heard of Henry VIII?

  8. The throne should pass on to Prince William rather than to Charles or to his brothers. The Queen's sons lost their moral integrity that their mother is beholden to all her life.

Prince William is young, fresh and clean unless he follows his father's footsteps too, then the Queen should pass it to Harry or Prince Andrew's princesses.

  9. What you are describing is a selective monarchy. It may work for Jordan (a country in which the King is able to choose his heir) but I don't think it would work in the UK.

Elizabeth will never abdicate and Charles will become King Charles III if he is still alive. It is likely Charles will only be King for a short time, after all, he could be 70 by the time he is crowned. William will most likely become King William V sometime in his 40's. God forbid he comes to harm, Harry would then be King Henry IX.

Camilla has already been somewhat accepted but she will be Queen in position only. Theoretically, the person married to the King is the Queen! Her title will be Camilla, Princess Consort.

  10. THe man has spent a lifetime preparing for the job, going into the service, traveling the world, being the good will ambassador for England.  Yes, he is in his fifties and ready.  He has the experience and has been groomed since birth for this job.  Regarding his wife, they seem happy.  Why are we so judgemental with people we do not even know.

  11. I think Elizabeth will pass it on to William because she knows Charles is a twit and he could not manage his own life let alone a country. As for the thing he married woof woof.

  12. charles can't become king now since he's divorced...only his sons can be kings now...charles i believe will reign as only

a prince...if both of his sons refuse to be king...

  13. I think the throne should pass to me, I think I'm more english than the hanovers, meklenburgs, and the saxe-coburg-gothas,

    My ancestors were the:

    Bedingfields

    Tracys

    Somersets

    Stradlings

    Arundels

    Palmers

    Shaws

    Montagues

    Verneys

    Conways

    and the Yorks

  14. Camilla should not become Queen....

I think one of Charles sons should beome King.

  15. Charles will become king and then following him William.   The only way it would go directly from Queen Elizabeth to one of Charles' sons would be if Charles passed away before his mother or gave up his spot in the line of succession.

Camilla will be the PRINCESS consort to Charles when he ascends to the throne.   Usually the wife of the reigning monarch is the KING/QUEEN consort but it was decided the Camilla would not be known as the Queen Consort. (More than likely because of her controversial relationship with the Prince of Wales)

I believe she would be accepted by the people of the U.K.  However, I do not believe she will ever live up to Diana's standards to the public.  As a matter of fact, it has shown lately in polls that 70% still admit they had more admiration for Diana than they do for Camilla.

I loved Diana just like so many people around the world but Camilla makes Charles happy so let them be happy.  (I guess stuff like that doesn't make good headlines though does it?)

  16. Charles needs to give it to his son. What he did to Diana is unforgivable.
