  1. I think he's shocked that he doesn't get to be with Juliet... he expected them to be lovers forever... so, he kills himself to forever be with her, even though the stars (God) took her away.


  2. "Is it e'en so?" = "Is this true?"

    "Then I defy you, stars." = "Then I defy fate, the universe, God, etc."

    Basically he is shaking his fist at the world in anger.

  3. something along the lines of is it true? then i will go against fate and all that good stuff. and then he kills himself.
