JCC Jr. is still fighting weak opponents and this saturday against another weak boxer, so when will he fight the best in the division? Is he ready for the elite boxers? he already has a lot of fights won (34 fights won and 28 by KO)

  1. if hes gonna fight bums he should at least fight 7 or 8 times a year to improve his skills and get some experiance so he can finally take on known opponents

  2. at the moment, it seems that he's making a lot of money fighting on small pay-per-view cards,  but i agree that he needs to step up in compitetion.

  3. probably in the next 2-3 years, he is making money off his dad's name right now, and once he has 40-50 fights he will get a title shot, and sadly will probably get pounded, because he's not his father and doesnt know what it is like to grow up in devastating poverty, and once he loses, the media will shove down his throat that he will never be as good as his dad, and his career will fade slowly for another couple of years, just look at hector camacho jr's career

  4. I couldn't agree with you more i read about it on Maxboxing.com. Even before that i was saying that this kid really needs to step up in competition because I am really getting tired of seeing him blast through nobodies. From what i understand he has a very limited amateur career and they are trying to bring him along slowly. However there is a fine line between bringing a guy along slow vs putting him in protective custody this is boxing the kid is going to get hurt. I used to believe in this guy but after watching him fight Journey men and Bums I am really starting to think he is protected. I would like to see him take just a minor step up in class and fight.

    ESPN 2 quality guys

    Ben Talkie

    Anybody from Contender

    Joel Julio

    Andy Lee

    John Duddy

    Luis Collozo

You know anybody that can put up a fight but honestly I am really only thinking of one world for this kid.

    PROTECTED

  5. are you ppl stupid?chavez jr doesnt have a amatuer fighting backround,if you want to toss this kid into the lions without getting his feet wet is just plain dumb...let the boy get some experience before he gets in the ring with some elite opponents!
