  1. They did inform the players via the forums in the "Hear ye! Announcements" section at the top and also in game with that charming OM-Red color as to what they were doing and when they thought they would be back up and running.  So instead of blowing a gasket just remember that sometimes things don't always go as planned, nobody is perfect, not even big companies.  In the meantime maybe you could try to stand on your head and say, "I love Puzzle Pirates" umpteen gazillion times or watch something brilliant like this ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7AWnfFRc7g
