  1. It's blurry for me, and it it for most people.  Some people's eyes are better adapted for water, though, but don't worry.

  2. blurry but clear with goggles :)

  3. It's a bit blurry, depends on how good your vision is. The ripples of the water alone will didsort your sight anyway.

  4. yea its blurry for mee

    and it stings

    so i never do it

  5. its blurry for me. it kinda stings 2.

  6. You should never swim in the pool without a good pair of well-fitting goggles. This is because there is a certain amount of dirt, chlorine, other people's urine and sweat in the water. Surely these are not hygienic for your eyes. A pair of lightly-tinted goggles will allow you to see very clearly and also prevent another person's fingers accidentally poking your eyes. So there are many good reasons of wearing goggles when swimming, even at sea or in the river.  Hope the tips help!

  7. it's very clear for me (20/20 vision)

if you see blurry under water, you should really keep your eyes closed because it could cause water damage to your eyes.

  8. If u r v short-sighted to start with you will see objects more clearly underwater. If u want to improve resolution for the normal eye underwater sans goggles, just pinch thumb and first 2 fingers in front of ur eye, to create a smaller pupil aperture to cut down the divergent rays for ease of focus.

I would conjecture that, hysterically peoples who depended on diving for food/pearls etc would have used slit type goggles b4 the advent of readily available glass 4 this very porpoise!

  9. Its blurry for me as well.

  10. Whoever said it was clear for them are liars. You shouldn't open your eyes underwater, Chlorine isn't good for your eyes. Theres a reason for goggles you know.

  11. I have perfect eyesight & it is BLURRY underwater for me.

  12. It's usually quite clear for me unless they add loads of chlorine.

  13. Pretty clear for me.  Not perfect, but I wear glasses above water, so i guess that's to be expected.

  14. You'd fail an English test if you wrote like that young lady.

    Anywho..

its blury for me aswell, but you can still see colours.

its only clear if you wear swimming goggles.

that's why they were invented.. well, one of the many reasons.

Who ever told you they had perfect vision under water are crazy.

  15. Its blurry for everyone.  The refractive index of water will not allow the eyes to focus correctly.  The cornea is designed to work with air only, not water.  That is why we need a mask/goggles to see (unless you are aquaman/woman)Now, being nearsighted does cut down on the fuzziness of things (ok, theoretically, if you are nearsighted enough, you could see clearly under water, but you would be totally blind up top).  Oh, and what the heck is "water damage" to the eyes???  The chlorine may irritate your eyes if you are sensitive to it.

  16. It's quite blurry for me.

    The chlorine burns my eyes!

It didn't used to be that bad though, as I was used to swimming without goggles, so most things were relatively clear and the chlorine didn't sting. Although, I was a water baby then, I have discovered goggles and it's clear underwater.

  17. It is blurry for me. And it is hard for me to see a long distance in the water. It makes your eyes red and stings. My best guess, DON'T DO IT.

  18. It all depends on how much chlorine is in the pool. Too much chlorine eats at my eyes and makes me see blurry.
