When a Cell Phone Is Dead Is this Possible?

If a phone is dead, and you call it from another phone...can you still sometimes hear ringing before the voicemail picks up or will it always just go straight to the voicemail???

Yea, sometimes it sounds like it rings like for a couple times and then it goes to the voicemail.

yes it's possible it may only ring like one or two times

In my experiance- when the phone is dead. or basicly switched OFF, the call should go straight to voicemail.

The only way you might hear it ring and then go to voicemail is if the phone is on, and the person REJECTED the call, hence sending your call on to voicemail after the first or second ring....
