Ha ha It's just another slang term a different way of saying yo do you got a serious problem with me?.But I've heard not just only rappers use it. My grand father has used it on me before." What so you got beef son?!." lol I was really shocked. I  have even heard a  White reporter use it on CNN. He said "so uh what's your beef with Obama then?". Ha ha It was kind of funny I didn't expect him to use that term.

probably goes back to mad cow disease. and you could die from beef, so wishing death to some one, there for you have beef with them.
