  2. ok first off you will need to clarify. The Coaxial cable is digital but is also on an RCA type connector. The Analog connectors are RCA connectors but there's more than one - either a red + white for Left + right or more than that.

    The Coaxial RCA will be Orange. That's digital. You can use it just like the Optical TOSLink connection and the audio will be fine - chances are you can use them both and they will both be active at the same time.

    The Analog RCA connectors may also be active at the same time as the Digital connectors, but you probably can't listen to them both at the same time - your system may or may not be able to output analog and digital audio at the same time.

  3. If this is set up to use digital the analog connection won't matter.  Your reciever will only use one interface for the connection.

    These are two different inputs/outputs. One is digital an done is analog.
