  1. They get the bikes as you would if you ordered a new one on-line. It's 90% assembled.

    Front wheel needs to be installed.

    Saddle and post

    Front brake

    Stem and handlebars

    Pedals

    Reflectors (haha)

    I think that's about it. Everything needs to be tuned and all fasteners checked for proper tightness. The wheels usually need touch up truing and finally fill the tires.

    A good wrench can do a good job in about 1 to 1.5 hours if no problems in a well set up shop.


  2. Ditto to MR.

    The bike is usually shipped to the store from the manufacture warehouse via fedex or some other frieght shipping.
