I was just in the garden I listened to the birds and they all sounded different. Each species had an individual tune. How does that work. I watched them and all they did was open there beaks and these different sounds came out. How? Do they just sing and the voice box automaticly makes the noise or do they have to force it out in a certain order? How does the voicebox go in the same tune?

  1. Howcome when you talk so many different noises come out?

  2. Birds sing by instinct.  Cardinals sing out in Cardinal language.  parrots sing in parrot language.  Sparrows speak only to sparrows.

all birds can scold other species and other birds but it is a noise rather than a true bird word.

They only talk to their own species because they can only mate with their own.

  3. Same way we do it.
