When a boxer gets cut around the eye, eye lid, below, above. what is that thing they put on there?

beside vasaline. is it some type of blood clotting thing? i seem them put something on there. what is it called? thanks.

  1. ADRENALINE, stings like a good un too, but stems the blood flow to the open would, they the corner applies Vaseline to prevent the blood from seeping out and helps the opponents punches slide of your face.

    No worries, ive been fighting as a Pro kickboxer for the past 10 years and its what they have always used on me, (i cut to bloody ribbons :-) )


  2. The answerers before are right, but it is not pure adrenalin. The maximum allowed is a mixture 1 to 1000.

  3. They put "adrenalin" in it to help it clot and the "vaseline" with an "e" is only put on the eye to help the punches slide instead on direct contact.
