  1. Like the above, I wait until it has all lights off, the folding stop sign down, and they start moving, that way I know that I will not get in trouble for anything if there is a nearby cop.

  2. You may pass once those lights are off, but also make sure there are no children running out in front........or any cars coming the other way. Sometimes when we become impatient, and in our rush to pass this vehicle which is IN OUR WAY, might miss seeing something else which is happening. Develop those observation skills! Keep your eyes moving!

Always take a second to think a situation through before hitting that accelerator.

  3. Once the bus driver turns off the lights it is ok to pass.  But do so slowly.

  4. Legally yes it is ok to go once the light are off and the stop sign is in.  As an extra precaution I usually wait until the bus starts to pull away.  This way I know there will be no kids running across at the last second.

  5. Yes but use extreme caution at all times but what I do is wait for the bus to move on first then I will drive pass it.

  6. Yes once lights are off it is correct for you to proceed.  I drove in Canada (I am from UK) last year for 6 weeks and found this ruling irritating and confusing and in the main totally unnecessary.
