When a celebrity's personal life is in the news and newspapers/mags, why do their "friends" or family..

...always comment on it.they make it worse by telling their so-called truth,to the mags or newspapers. like the A-rod/Madonna thing.I'm a yankees and A-rod fan and every day when i get the papers (for my dad) I have to constantly see this soap opera play out. I was mad that the media just can't keep out of peoples business. Question: Should there be a line drawn when it comes to celebrities private lives,like a law or something? I know they got papers to sell but I don't like seeing my fave baseball player hounded like this. (and yeah it was his fault too,but like i said a line has to be drawn) watchu think?

As long as people are interested , the stories will be printed ... For some reason people get their jollies sticking their noses where they don't belong ... like in other peoples bisiness. This makes money for the papers . So they just keep printing this garbage.

Because basically people are bored with their own lives and live vicariously through celebrity freaks.
