  1. for him not to answer the prayers of victims like dylan groene makes me think he doesn't answer anyones.

  2. You should spend some time reading the Bible if you are this interested in God.

  3. He answers but sometimes for his own reasons he say no. We don't like the word no.

  4. I was once that very child.

I am here almost 50 years later.

Why am I and not others...............no satisfiable answer can be found, for either of us.

  5. What makes you think that prayer is about asking for what you want and receiving it?  That's a very simplistic/child-like way at looking at something.

    EDIT:

I believe that prayer has a number of functions:

    1.  As a kind of counselling service - talking through your problems with God and thereby finding the solution within yourself

    2. As a kind of mediation - for example the rosary which helps focus the mind

    3. I believe that the mind is more powerful than most people are prepared to admit and this can change events - such as helping sick people.  But one small child about to be killed is not going to have much power at its disposal.

    4. As a way of thanking god/ the universe/ life in general for the god things in your life and as a way of focusing your attentions on the good things in life.

I think too many people think that prayer is only there for asking/demanding something that you want, and then having a tantrum/using it as proof that god doesn't exist when it doesn't materialise.

  6. Abigail, how does that make any sense?

What could a baby have done to fulfill his/her purpose in life? "Thou hath rolled over, thou shall be ready to die."

  7. If he hears a child pray and doesn't do anything because of "Free Will" that means that "God" isn't worth worshiping then, huh?

  8. This is a very insightful question.  Something I have asked myself many times.  I do believe in Jesus Christ and His teachings. I can't understand why a loving God would allow horrible things to happen to innocent people, especially children.  I see members are saying, "free will".  If I had total power, I would answer the prayers of children by striking dead anyone who was hurting them.  To answer your question, I have no idea why God would deny the prayers of a child in trouble.

  9. If I understand you correctly you mean if an child is murdered, so I will answer that I understand. Only God know when an murder would happen the child would not know till it occurs. So lets go from that assumption.

It appears from a lot of the scripture applies mostly to we being sheep the weaker of creatures. Even the Christ is refered to as a Lamb, we are as sheep before the slaughter, I send you as sheep before wolves, harming my little one. In other words we are approached by evil, not to be ignorant of the evil that surrounds us.

If nothing else we should  know accordly as history has taught us in our neighborhoods. Our parents throughout scriptoral history were responsible for the child, and somewhere in this same time, gave away our responsibilty to God.

I dont say any of this refers to children as in youth, but to them which believe in Christ. But, I do believe that even a child should have some history of prayer before the Lord, not anticipating the pain of an act as you explain.

But in Scripture it is said, that Jesus says to the guards, who came to arrest him. If we only accept it for ourselves also, in accordance to God's will. He said, you could have no authority at all against me if it were not given you from above. Christians are suppose to apply this to themselves but they don't. But also you must know that your enviroment has somewhat also to do with what approaches you, in other words, Christ says, I am known of my sheep, and my sheep know me.

Christians know that the place of their dwelling is not their final home. It does not mean they are to dwell anywheres else, but that at this moment in time in what place I dwell the circumstance is therein that is my place. If there is evil in that place, if you dont move which is up to the parent of a child. You accept what is there, and some time that economics.

Now faith says that, as you pray, trust, where ever you live under whatsoever enviroment you live God is there, and for thousands of years it has been so. And people lived in comfort and peace. I have three children myself, and there may have disputes or disagreements of parent, but I have not and do not shurk my responsibilities.

I trust God and have accepted that I have been given.

  10. People have free will.  God does not interfere with our free will.

  11. God doesn't hear your prayer if you do not claim Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and are living your life according to his statutes

  12. The child doesn't have to pray for him/herself if still a baby...

It is funny that prayers requesting the destruction of anybody have an immediate and enthusiastic response from the Bible God, but prayers on behalf of a sick person or on behalf of a sick baby may never be answered!  Even when YOU KNOW FOR SURE that God is the author of the EVIL in the life of the baby!

2 Samuel 12:13-18 (NIV)  Then King David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” Nathan replied, “The Lord has taken away your sin. You are not going to die.* (*Isn’t God so sweet? King David had s*x with a married woman and had to kill her husband, but…!) But because by doing this you have made the enemies of the Lord show utter contempt, THE SON BORN TO YOU WILL DIE.”* (*Yeah… the Bible God always picks on the innocent and defenseless babies for a bloody slaughter, especially if this b*****d kid grows up and begins to pretend to the Throne of Israel!) After Nathan had gone home, the Lord* (*NOT SATAN!) struck the child that Uriah's wife had borne to David, and he became ill* (*poor baby! Hey, but God know why he is doing it so his enemies won’t laugh at him!). DAVID PLEADED WITH GOD FOR THE CHILD. He fasted and went into his house and spent the nights lying on the ground* (*Hardly any Christian today prays like that! They go to Benny Hinn for a miracle!). The elders of his household stood beside him to get him up from the ground, but he refused, and he would not eat any food with them* (*what else can a decent guy do? Healing Crusades were not invented yet!). ON THE SEVENTH DAY THE CHILD DIED…

YES! The Bible God, NOT SATAN had the poor baby dying on a slow tormenting death for 7 long days so King David and “the enemies of The LORD” learn a lesson.  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœWHATSOEVER” is written in the OT is intended for the Christian of today, too! (Romans 15:4) God the Son Jesus Christ is not less of a baby killer, either!

Revelation 2:23 (NIV) (Jesus says) I WILL STRIKE HER CHILDREN DEAD* (*Sweet Jesus Christ himself is the one having the pleasure of doing the killing of children so he can teach everybody a lesson on who is the BOSS! That is the theme throughout the Bible! The wise Clergy earned millions printing books about Jesus’ love for the little children of the world without telling anybody about Jesus’ vicious children killing craze. In our society today, Jesus would be in jail for promoting the killing of children to favor a particular religion!!!). Then ALL THE CHURCHES WILL KNOW that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.* (*YEAH…! Praise the LORD! Sweet Jesus…! He is such a great teacher and he must have learned all that from the Mafia!)

Psalm 137:8-9 - O Daughter of Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is he who repays you for what you have done to us- he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.

The Bible God’s strategy is very simplistic! The Bible teaches that the enemies of God ought to be killed in their infancy when it is easier to get rid of them!

Christians believe that my answers are offensive because they hardly read the Bible and all that they hear from their preachers is a prosperity get rich quick Gospel using a few poached verses from the Bible as a backdrop… The least that the faithful Christian can do in gratitude and hope to get some return is to pay the full tithe and offerings to the Church…!!!

  13. some people were meant to die as part of "Gods" plan, those are the people who have fulfilled there purpose "God" created them for in life.

some of those peoples death helps others with there purpose.

And god DOES answer prayers; Ive herd stories from people who have

had there prayers answered and had a lot of prayers answered myself.

You just got to have a little faith, that's all it takes.

  14. Batgirl, couldn't God make a meteor strike down and kill the murderer, hm?
