Are you talking about the low cooing sound that a male dove makes?  Usally with it's head bent low?

I'm guessing that's what you mean, as I have never seen a female dove coo.

That cooing is actully part of it's mating dance!!  If your dove is doing this, then don't wory it's just trying to call a mate, or entice one of the female doves you have in your area.

Maybe? Try to give it some birdseed (If you do not own birdseed give it some sunflower seeds (no salt), broccoli, cut up apples, bread crumbs, cooked rice, peanut butter, grated cheese, and mashed hard boiled eggs.
