This is a tough one almost all of us go through.

When it happened to me, I was crushed.  I let my grief and anger and fear put up a barrier to stop the pain.  Eventually, I moved on with my life and met someone else.  Unfortunately, I never stopped loving or thinking about the one that got away.

Fast forward 25 years.  The old flame made contact with me and it wasn't long before I saw her old love light shining more brightly than before.  To make a long and somewhat ugly story short, we are now married and very happy.

My advice is to you is that if you are certain in your heart that she is "the one", then wait as long as it takes for her to re-discover that fact.  Let her know now that there is nothing she could say or do to change how you feel.  Don't let your anger and pain blind you to opportunities.  Don't be afraid to ask for help dealing with the grief.
