When a governor/president wants to pass a bill , what does he do

If the bill is initiated by a president/governor, is the process of passing the bill different from when a bill is proposed by a senator or somebody else?

As in S'pore, the Parliament (British Style) will pass the bills but  normally being endosed by the President as he hold one of the 2 keys to the Reserve (only when needed to spend from there).  Is it different from yours, please check it out.?

When the chief executive wants legislation, he/she typically has a member of his/her party introduce it. Then it goes through the process like any other bill.
