If the bill is initiated by a president/governor, is the process of passing the bill different from when a bill is proposed by a senator or somebody else?

  1. Please indicate such question for American only or else foreigners will answer for you in their language, OK.

As in S'pore, the Parliament (British Style) will pass the bills but  normally being endosed by the President as he hold one of the 2 keys to the Reserve (only when needed to spend from there).  Is it different from yours, please check it out.?

  2. When the chief executive wants legislation, he/she typically has a member of his/her party introduce it. Then it goes through the process like any other bill.
