When a iron sheet is placed between the magnet and the iron nail, will there be attraction?

My tys answer says that the magnet will not attract the iron nail if the iron sheet is placed under the magnet :(

There will be attraction between all three. The magnet will induce the sheet to be magnetized, inducing the nail to be magnetized. Try this, take a magnet, pick up one paperclip with it. Try to use that paper clip to pick up another one with magnetism. See how many you can pick up!
