do you think let's say the mother is thinking about the child and how badly she's hurt, or that her husband will yell and be upset at her for not watching the kid?

  1. Woah. My husband has never yelled at me for my kids getting hurt. I'm usually too busy crying with my kids anyway to hear anything he says. LOL

  2. The question is WAS she watching the child???

  3. In our family, my husband and I share equally in parenting.  He does not yell at me for anything nor is he ever upset at me if one of the kids gets hurt.  In a healthy, respectful relationship this is how things work.  If a child gets hurt when I am with them or if a child gets hurt when my husband is with them, our first concern is always the child.  Neither of us worries about what the other will say.  I can't even begin to imagine staying in a relationship with a man who acted like that.

  4. A good mother will not care about her husband yelling. If my kids fall or anything like that, i worry more about how badly they are hurt. Most of the time, my fiance understands that kids will be kids and falling is a part of childhood. So, i dont get 'yelled at' for not watching them.

Also, a good father understands that kids fall. And the majority of the time, it isnt the mothers fault for not 'watching' them. Its a part of life ...

  5. Well, for a start I'd think about the situation. Why are you even assuming that the mum is looking after the kid and the dad's not there?

This is the 21st century. My husband yells at me, I'll yell back. He's not in authority over me. I'm his wife, not his servant. Parenting is an equal partnership.

  6. who cares what the husband says! it's the child that's hurt...that should be the important thing! the husband can just get over it! maybe it's HIS fault for not being there to HELP watch the child!

  7. I think the mom's first concern would be her child's well being. Accidents happen even when a mom watches a child like a hawk, so unless she is negligent, the hubby has nothing to yell about.

  8. its the modern world, dont let your husband control you! I know my dad is so sexist - 'girls cant do this and that'. I feel sorry for my mum, DONT LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU. I find that taking up boxing helps :)

    thats just my opinion,

apply logic and decide for yourself.
