It won't have you doubled up in great pain, but there will be a little "sting" with the urethral swab. Most of the other testing is not that bad.

of course not, unless you are talking about the blood test. that's about the only thing that may hurt.

If you want to get testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea you could ask to do a urine test. Urine tests are just as accurate as swabs. All you need to do is pee 30mls in a container ( make sure you have not peed for at least an hour before you get testing done). If you want testing for other STI's/STD's like herpes or warts then you will need to have a doctor examine you. But it shouldn't be painful.

Specimen collection with a urethral swab (much like a q-tip) can hurt, especially if it's inserted into the p***s more than 2-3 mm. This test usually checks for Chlamydia and/or Gonorrhea.
