  1. Contrary to popular belief, all men are not out for s*x.  Nor are they g*y, emotionally disturbed either.  I write poetry, and will read to any who wish to hear it.  I write poetry that makes people laugh, cry, angry, or just feel at peace.  It's what I do, and there are no motives behind it.

    A. I've turned down numerous offers of s*x, because I am happily married, and am not looking for conquests.

    B. I am not g*y, and even if I were, it wouldn't change me poetically.  Fact is, I enjoy reading and writing poetry.

    C. I am not emotionally disturbed, nor do I expect to ever become so,.

    D. This one who have to encompass my answer, as none of the rest fit into my reasons for reading poetry to women, or anyone else for that matter.

  4. The correct answer is A.

    No matter what a man does, he is trying to get into your pants.  That doesn't make it a bad thing.  Even a man who is truly interested in you and cares about you will want to take you to bed.

    The question you have to ask is, how sincere is he?  Is he just trying to get you in the sack because he will use you and abandon you or does he really care about you and want to share sexual intimacy with you?

  9. As an editor of books of poetry, I can tell you that men who read poetry do it for D). Many of them are brilliant, literary people who read poetry for the joy of hearing the music in language. They write poetry for the joy of creation.
