  1. you said what do you think, so from my view.... for an old age to die is tragic. becaus when a young person died, he or she doesn't need to go through skool, fail test, look for job, having a job, fired, marriage, divorce, retired, sickness, emotional hurting from someone, physical hurting from someone. those are things that would happen in a person's life because ppl won't have a ''perfect'' life so they have to past through these. but if they die when young, they don't need to go through these. and for an old person to go through these and die after all those they went through then it's like they went through all for nothing or just for dying because at the end it's all the same...... and also if they have kids or others then they'll be very sad and have a sad dying. which compares to a kid, they didn't spend that much with their family or ppl they love so they won't be very sad if they die.

to me whether having high education, good job, high incomeor having low education, bad job, low income, ALL means nothing because at the end u'll die it's just a matter of dying early or latter but u still have to die!!  sometimes ppl don't get that ppl die is a natual thing and they think that dying is bad but it's good because this is how the world is going or esle the earth will over populate......

  2. No, that's how we're supposed to die.

  3. Senior citizens sometimes die a painful death after suffering much pain and loosing their quality of life their death should not be minimized because of their age.

  4. Because we are only here for a time, and it is expcted that when we are old we die though sad it is to loose loved ones ,t hats the way God planned it.

  5. You answered your own question so I guess I'll have to agree with you on that.

  6. It's not tragic, no, but depending on how well you know the person, it may be very sad.

The deaths of young people and children are always sad of course, bu tnowadays they are mercifully rare, whereas in past times it was very common indeed for people to die young.  People could die at any age, and so tended to be better prepared for death than we are, since it was looked on as an event that might happen to you at any time, rather than something belonging particularly to old age.

  7. People view the death of a child as tragic because they haven't lived to their "potential". Others see all the dreams that the child had (or would have had) and think that because they haven't been realised then that is a tragedy.

Whereas with old people, others view their death as the natural course of things.

Death is only tragic to those left behind. Those that have died don't know any different.

  8. I think that's the wrong way to look at it.

Death is always tragic to those left behind. And what is old?

Age 65 is a lot more functional than it used to be. A 65 year old could still be supporting his/her family. That death would be untimely.

Of course no one lives forever, and statistically speaking older people are more likely to die than the young. That means it isn't going to make front page news because it isn't uncommon.

But please don't make the mistake of belittling human life this way.

  9. It's still sad. I am probably much older than you and can tell you through personal experience, that it is sad to lose anyone at any age. My grandparents died at ages 34,62,87 and 92.My father died at 75;he died quite unexpectedly and it was a great shock and great blow.I just lost my 27 year-old...they all hurt equally.Try not to be so callous.

  10. It depends on the individual situtation not necessarily on the age.  Sometimes death comes as a friend and brings peace and freedom from pain.

  11. Yes, its tragic. Every death is...
