As in, there will be no alarm or anything like that. anything that will give them away. Just wondering how robbers pick there cars that they are going to steal from.

  1. Cars and homes are not "robbed" they are burglarized. PEOPLE are robbed.

  2. They just know the cars. It's pretty easy to tell if a car has an alarm by its age and make. For example older Hondas, Toyotas, Acuras, which are among the most popular cars to be broken into or stolen, don't have alarms. Usually car companies will put a sticker on the window too like "Anti-theft System." Thieves do their research before they go breaking into cars.

  3. Go to your local police station and they can give you all the information you need.

  4. most older ones dont have alarms its just new ones

  5. Just to let you know, most technicians know how to pick cars in Malaysia. The bad news is there, but the good news, people never think of, is if your key is locked in the car (some stupid owners do auto-lock for their cars, and I've became victim 2 customer cars already), you can get those "experts" to pick and free the stupid auto-lock, to get the key.

  6. They will look for any signs of a security light then tap the glass to see if the alarm will sound off and if not they will proceed.

They look for the one thing that alot of people do and that is leaving the keys in the ignition and also leaving a second key under the front or rear bumper.

They look for high end items left in the vehicle.

They are also using laptop computers to unlock vehicles today and it is done with high-tech software.

  7. most only rob high value vehicles. when you hear a car alarm going off in a parking lot, do you assume the person standing there is a robber or someone who can't figure out the remote. so many alarms go off now that they are almost of no value.
