  1. Not really, the person who is doing the labeling is stereotyping (not very cool). I think "Typical" means you're behavior is predictable, and you are very set in your ways. Both need to open up

  2. It is your interpretation...make of it what you will.

  3. Well i suppose it depends on who said it and their tone of voice....

it can be good or bad sooo yeah..

  4. it depends on the reason he said it but usually it is good.

  5. It could mean that your dull and unpredictable or they could just be trying to say your normal.  Typically typical isn't a really a good thing it just means your so so like everyone else out there.

  6. Sounds to me like they're saying you are "average".

  7. it depends.....

  8. it means ur no better then anyone else u dont stand out

  9. To me this sounds just like the phrase, "this is generic." I do not think of this as complimentary at all.

However, it seems as if most people wish to be typical even if they "typically" embrace being an individual with their personal style. Look around you and see how many people dress and act alike and you will get my point.

  10. It could go either way. Listen to the words.

  11. Depends on the context, though most of the time I think it would not be good.

If you just made a mistake doing something and someone said you were typical they are probably saying your are stupid.  On the other hand if you are a math major who just solved a complex problem and someone said you are typical they probably think you are awesome.
