  1. His orders are what put the game together. The players follow his orders.

  2. The manager gets blamed and fired because you cant get rid of the whole team. Sometimes people think that its the way that he manages so he is the one who gets blamed

  3. Because its his job to keep things together, to keep the team from "falling apart."

  4. Good question i am one fo those people who like to blame the Manager, i think becuase  he makes the line up he is the one in charge of making sure the player do what they need to do

  5. One part of it is just the numbers. You can't get rid of 25 players, so you get rid of the manager and try to shake up the club that way.

The other part is that the manager is responsible for getting the team ready to play at their peak. When that isn't happening, management may try to bring in a manager that will build that environment.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Houston did that a few years back and it worked very well for them. The Mariners did it this year and they still suck.

  6. the manger is like a parent who if his/her kid is bad in school or something the parent gets the blame because he/she didn't do a good job  raising a kid.hope i helped

  7. Managers get blamed because they choose Who Plays, Who Pitches, and a lot of other things. The Owners of the team don't get  blamed because there the owner and they all is what they do is Hire people, fire people, and sign or release people. Managers are ones who do most of the work including putting teams in a certain position like 1 place or second.

  8. Because it's his job to get the team motivated to win and work with them to get them out of slumps.

  9. The manager is responsible for making a lineup, and who he puts in that lineup.  If a player isn't delivering, and they are kept in the lineup, then the manager is at fault.  He also chooses who he wants to bring up to the Majors and send down to the Minors, and who is kept in the pitching rotation and who should be in the bullpen.  He makes the calls, both good and bad.

  10. Red Sox blamed Manny.

The Manager is an easy target for the press/Management... he is supposed to be the leader and if somethings wrong the easy thing to do is blame the leader.
