When a telephone get disconnted and they have the internet connted to it do the internet get turn off to?

when a telephone get's disconneted and they also have the internet with the same telephone company as well, do the internet stay connented even though the telephone get's disconneted or he internet get's turn off to?

Depends of if the phone line is getting disconnected for non-pay or by customer's request.  If for non-pay, in most cases the internet will be disconnected before the phone because it's a nonregulated service.  If by customers request, the phone line can be shut off by deprovisioning the equiptment that provides the dial tone while leaving the equiptment for the internet provisioned.  In most cases, when a phone is disconnected, there is no physical work that is done to the line.

1. if  the line is disconnected from outside say for non payment or because of any line trouble , then both the telephone and the internet would get disconnected

2.there might be chances say the problem on the spiltter which spilts the line to internet and telephone, and if its where the problem is , then you have chances of internet working and the telephone line dead.

Yes the Internet runs thru your phone, so yes both will be turned off.
