  1. When an animal is given to the vet for cremation,  it is taken to another location to have that done.  The owner is usually given the option of having the pet cremated with other animals  for a fee, or cremated individually and the ashes returned for a higher fee.  I can't imagine anyone wanting to pay the higher price for an animal as small as a hamster.  In fact,  most people wouldn't bother with cremation at all for such a small animal.

  4. Nothing. They'll probably brush all the ashes from the day/week into a big bin and scatter them over a memorial garden.

    They don't put them in urns or anything.

  5. I'd bet that they just throw it away or scatter it around the field. I'm pretty sure you can have a special alternative though, if it is preferred.

  6. Probably a shot glass or snack size baggie.
