When adding a line to a family plan in Sprint, can you get any discounts on phones?

Okay, so I'm planning on joining my mother's family plan with Sprint and leaving T-Mobile.. I have an amazing phone with T-Mobile, but hate the service, and was wanting to get a Palm Centro when switching to Sprint, but I don't want to pay the full price. I was wondering if any discounts were available when adding a line to an already existing plan. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

well, when you add another line, that line itself gets a two year activation and service discount. i was added my my grandmothers, and we got the phones for free
