I am diagnosed with a miscarriage. I started spotting brown 4 days ago and ran to the ER to get check. I should be at 8 weeks. My hcg levels measure about 27,000. The ultrasound scan concluded the baby to had stop developing at 7 weeks and no heart beat is detected.

The doctor said I should start miscarrying within the next few days. I don't feel like I am miscarrying. My brown spotting turned to red bleeding. But no cramps. And not heavy bleeding. Am i currently miscarrying or is it still to come?

Can I miscarry without the pain and heavy bleeding? Or is spotting how is usually starts? I'm scared and in pain emotionally. =[

Thanks.

  1. I though the same thing when i was told that i was gonna miscarry, i spotted for 2 days, bled like i was on my period for 3 days and on the 4th day in my sleep i started having really bad contractions and passing debri and clots...... dont be in a rush because its alot of pain..... try getting pain pills before GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS

  2. We cannot tell you when it is going to happen.  You will definitely have heavier bleeding and cramping when it does occur.  Most doctors will give it a week or two and if it does not pass, will offer a D&C to remove the tissue. Sorry for the loss of your pregnancy

  3. I'm not sure but I am very sorry you are going through this!

    I know it's not easy.

Good Luck and God Bless you and your family!

  4. sorry for your loss..I miscarried a few years ago (twins) one died at 7 weeks and the other at 8 weeks but i carried them for an extra 4 weeks before actually miscarrying. the bleeding started out spotting for me then turned into tiny tiny cramps. they prescribed me some meds to take to help speed up the miscarriage. after i took them i started to bleed very heavily and had very bad cramps but everything passed within that night and the bleeding turned into spotting after everything passed. You are at the beggining stage of miscarriage and your doc is right, without meds u will miscarry completely within a couple days...It is a sad thing to go through and hope you can deal with this emotionally and physically. sorry again =(
