Question:

When an email is sent to two Yahoo groups that I belong to, I receive only one email, not two. Why?

I belong to two groups with overlapping memberships. Often, the same message is sent to both groups. When this happens, I only receive 1 message when I would expect two emails, one from each Yahoo Group. Does Yahoo have some sort of filter that ensures that one email address receives just one message even if that email address belongs to two groups in the sent message? If so, how does Yahoo decide which group to send the message from?

  1. this isn't a Yahoo filter. they have no such thing. two different group names, yahoo would send as two different group posts regardless of the subject line.

maybe a filter on your own server, or a membership mail setting issue.
