  1. If the car was not used in a crime then you can get it out of the pound.

Your brother needs to sign a power of attorney if he owns the car,

Take the power of attorney, license, registration, insurance, and the money to get it out of the pound.

  2. girl i dont know i aint no police officer!!

  3. It will depend exactly why the car was impounded.

Was it impounded for "safekeeping" or was it impounded as evidence. Was it impounded because it was used in a felony, and as such will be forfeited?

Once you know why it was impounded, you will be able to figure out whether you can get the car out of impound.

If its "safekeeping", (for my dept) you would not a notarized statement from him allowing you to pick up the car. You would be responsible for paying the towing and impound fees in cash before being able to collect the vehicle.

  4. I would dare say that he, nor anyone else, will ever get the car.

Any vehicle used during the commission of a felony, to wit, possession of a gun and or possession of dope, the vehicle will be seized and sold at an auction.

Do the crime, do the time.  No compassion from me.
