When and how did micheal go to being white?

He had his skin bleached.  I believe he started that back in the early to mid 80's, around the time he caught fire doing the Pepsi commercial, and started with the numerous nose jobs....

i think he had a disease, in his teen years.

He has that skin disorder vitiligo and depigmentation  so most likely the problem was that he was getting all these patches of discolored skin and since you cant really go black he bleached his skin.  Nobody just turns white like he did, you have to go and have your skin bleached to get an even all over white like he has.
