When and how did your biggest wipeout occur?

Mine was in 10 footers and I was a beginner and I was on top of the wave and I tried to cut and fell down the whole wave (bodyboarding) and it crashed on me

Sadly mine was in small surf, less than waist high.  I caught a rail, pearled and got thrown headfirst onto the sandbar.  Got a huge lump and road rash on my forehead but fortunately no permanent injury.

It was my second time out on the water and I paddled out and we were waiting and out of nowhere comes a huge wave that crashed on me. I lost my board when the wave hit me and i didn't get a chance to get on my board again before the next wave actually caused the board to come back and smack me in the head. I got enough salt water in me to almost make me throw up. I didn't have too much fun that day.

I never have had a wipeout, but something jsut tells me to jump off the board coz i am going to fall.

when i was about 12 i was bodyboarding in hawaii and my sister saw a outside wave about 6-7 feet and i didnt so she started paddling out to go over and i started paddling a little after so i almost made it but didnt... i was on the lip of the wave backwards and the wave threw me down on my back and held me down for a good time
