Us humans might destroy the Earth. We already got the tools for it.

If not then the Earth is going to be thrown out of the solar system in the next 2-3 Billion years, when our galaxy colides with the Andromeda galaxy. This is way before the sun is going to evolve to a Red Giant by the way.

If you mean the end of life, then an asteroid could kill us any minute.  Not all of them are tracked and a bolt from the blue is certainly possible.  Not very likely, but possible.  If the asteroid is large enough it could kill nearly everything.  If an impact produces enough energy the oceans will boil away and the surface of the earth will once again become an ocean of magma.  This is BAD.

By one billion years the brightening sun will have killed all surface life.  In another billion the oceans will have evaporated and Earth will be dead.  It will resemble Venus for the next 3 billion years.

If you demand the actual destruction of the planet, the only realistic thing that could happen is the Red Giant sun swallowing us in 5 Billion years.  I wouldn't worry about that too much.  

Aliens can't get here, so they can not blow us up.

Humans could destroy civilization with a nuclear war, but substantial numbers would survive.  Although they might not be too happy about it.  The living would envy the dead.  

Flooded? How.  Ocean levels will rise but there is only so much ice to melt.  Real estate will become more valuable so maybe people will fight for what is left leading to the answer above.
