That is kind of difficult to answer.  The chiken was probably domesticated back in the Stone age. Different cultures domesticated the chicken at different times.

Nevertheless, there is proof that in 8500 BCE (that is the beggining of the Neolithic or Stone era) there were domesticated chickens in Oceania.
