When another team gives a loosing team some snacks is that an insult?

cause today was my 1st volleyball game and my 1st time ever and everyone was experieced but they sucked,i had to watch them then i played and proudly to say i scored some points but it was too late anyways cause i played towards the end but we loss and one of the team mates gave us a fresh pack of donuts and i took it as a home welcoming gift,cause we played at their school but when i told my brother,he said "AHHH that means THEY WAS LIKE here!! we ATE YO ***!"

i dont know if he was actin dumb or is that true???

  1. no they weren't being rude. They wer just being friendly. My University does something similar to that... and our intentions isn't to insult the other team.


  2. Always remember if the other team gives you food. Don't eat it . There could be something in it. Hopefully they really are good people. That would be a first! You know what, if everyone were nice to each other like this. I believe everyone would be a lot happier in their life.

  3. nah i don't think so.

    I went to a school several hours away to play once. There were 2 huge tie ups on the highway so we had to call to say we'd be late. The 7th grade team found a shortcut off the highway and so we finally got there like 3 hours after we were supposed to start and guess what we found in the locker room.

    FREsH BAKED PB COOKIES! and some out of a package sitting on the bench for us. dang they were delicious. when the 8th grade team got there there were hardly any left b/c it was so late and we were hungry.

    if i remember correctly the 7th grade team won the game.

    (& then on the way home there was another tie up where traffic was at a stop for an hour. its a really good thing we didn't have school the next day. lol)
