When applying for Travel Visa to Italy is email printout of online hotel booking enough proof of accomadation?

I booked for a hotel online through an online travel website and received email confirmation of booking. The Italian Embassy requires proof of accomadation and the hotel said they dont send any sort of invitation letter confirming it. So would printing out the email be enough for application of a 10-Day travel Visa?
