When applying for a credit card?

When they ask for annual household income. Do they want the income of everyone in the house including my parents or just me?

  1. If  you are applying for a loan or credit card, then it is your income and your expenses only.  If you pay your parents rent put that down.  You might write in that  you live at home.  Usually household income is the husband and wife, not a kid and parent if the parent is not on the card.  

    Actually a wife could apply with only her  income if she were applying herself.  Then she wouldn't put down the household income but indicate it is an individual account.  You want an individual account.


  2. Assuming you are 18 and will be the only one on the account, then you would just put your income.

  3. usually it is supposed to be only your income, but if you recieve some allowance from your parents include that amount of money as well.
