When applying for financial aid when do you get to know how much funds your going to get.?

Hi, I applied for the 2008-2009 fafsa on feburary and I would like to know when will I be able to know how much money ill be getting for college from fafsa.

a few weeks or even sooner after you did your fafsa on line you should have received a SAR (student Aid Report) from the dept of ed (FAFSA).  How you got it depends on how you choose to receive your info on your application.  

That info is sent to the schools you listed,  your school usually then sends you letters asking to to provide further information.  After they receive this information from you and you apply for admission and get accepted you will get an "Award Letter" from the school.

The award letter will detail the kinds and amounts of fin aid you are being offered.  If you don't have an award letter yet, call your schools fin aid office and find out why.

It depends on the cost of attendance at your school. Pell has an annual maximum, but if your school's cost of attendance is less than that, they will give you less than that.  

Once you are accepted into the school they will send you a financial aid letter with specific details.  You can also call the school's financial aid office and get some general information.  Since they work with the information for their specific school, they know the numbers.  They can also give you information on any additional financial aid options you may have.

Have you applied at a school yet?  You should have received an email or letter by now.  Check with the financial aid office at the college you've applied to; they will have a response to what you are eligible to get.

It depends on the college's tuition that you are planning to attend and how much they are willing to offer in you in financial aid and what you qualify for along with your parent's income, and how much federal grants, and loans you are eligible for from the government. You'll know by the end of June or during the summer when the college you are planning to attend have notified you of your financial aid plan.
