When applying for life insurance, do they check for herpes in the blood test?

Yes, I'm almost 100% sure they do. If the check for HIV and STD's. Excellent health is almost a must unless you want to pay out the butt! LOL

I have never heard of an insurance company doing a check for herpes.  Apply away and good luck

I haven't seen any check for herpes.

They are usually testing for HIV, AIDS virus, and diabetes. Check with the agent, company, or the examiner for more info.

I also have never heard them check for herpes.  Unless it is a VERY SEVERE case, it probably will not come up... however if it is severe and obvious, I would wait until it clears to apply.
