When are lottery ticket locations of purchase announced?

Tonights Mega Millions was drawn, but when will they announce, or where can I find the location of the tickets that won? Thanks in advance

Depends on the state where the winning ticket is sold. Some states don't announce location until after the winner redeems the ticket. You can go to Google News and do a search of megamillions the day after the drawing and it'll report if and possibly where winning ticket was sold.

As for last night:

NEW JERSEY (WABC) -- A single ticket has won the grand prize from the latest Mega Millions lottery drawing.

Lottery officials said the winning ticket from Tuesday night's drawing  worth $125 million  was sold in New Jersey.

In addition to the grand prize winner, eight tickets matched all five numbers but not the Mega Ball number. They will receive second prizes of $250,000 each.

Another 53 tickets matched four numbers, plus the Mega Ball number  good for third prizes of $10,000 each.
