bush is just the top puppet in our government.

SUV's have little effect on global gas price's.

people need to stop doggin SUV's. the demand for fuel from other countries is a bigger problem then our SUV's. its pretty hard to carry my family in a car. i have 5 kids. so i have no choice. plus fuel was not so high when i bought my suv.

Oil companies are playing the markets just like any other company wishes they could do.

Everyone needs to look at the big picture.. Not just whats in the USA, all over the world.

  1. suv's are part of the problem. why do you have 5 kids. 2 or 3 are enough.

  2. probobly never

  3. I believe the price of oil was under priced in north america for along time, especially in the states. in 2002 i paid 0.79/gallon in port isabel, by south padre island, Texas...gas war.. but still the reg price was around 0.99/ gal...only 6 yrs ago...only problem here is that unlike europe, we tend to depend on our vehicles so much and travel longer distances...they use more transit, bikes, scooters  and motorcycles due to the high cost of fuel..and it's been alot higher there for years....and yes we all know the UK could fit into Texas how many times....???at least twice..anyone from Texas ever drive from McAllen to Dallas...in one day?? i did, afew times...like driving from the British coast ot the north tip of Scotland...and China and India are now wanting cars to be like us...driving up the demand for oil.....

  4. Oil companies have little if any control over the price of oil. Oil is traded on the global market.

It boils down to supply and demand. The demand is HIGH. The supply is tight. The only way to bring down the price of gas is to stop using it. Everyday the demand for oil goes up. Everyday thousands of people here in the U.S. turn 16 and start filling their gas tanks every week. The demand for oil goes up 2% to 5% a year here in the U.S. It doesn't go down.

in 2003 Chinas demand went up 30%. India is not far behind.
